St. Vincent de Paul

The purpose of the Society is the spiritual development of the members and the living out in practical ways of the Catholic faith. We help neighbors in our St. Joseph area. To see the full St. Vincent de Paul boundary map, click here.

The Society hopes to help meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those who need help, whether they are in hospitals, nursing homes, homeless shelters, prisons, or in their own homes. Each day a member of the Society responds to a call for help, bearing witness to the love of Christ.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an international, Catholic lay organization, founded in 1833 in Paris by Frederic Ozanam and his companions. Call St. Vincent de Paul for how to get involved.

“The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few...” (Luke 10:2) The parish’s continued financial support is necessary for the society to function. The members of St. Vincent de Paul serve as an intermediary between those able to help and those needing help within the regional boundaries.

St. Vincent de Paul needs people with time to serve. Everyone has something to offer. Everyone has room to grow.
