Report Misconduct

Protecting our children is of the utmost importance to St. Joseph Parish, St. Stephen Family of Parishes, the Archdiocese, and the Catholic Church. In order to maintain a safe environment, the Archdiocese requires all paid staff and volunteers who work with children to undergo SafeParish training. Why?​​​​​

• This training prevents the abuse of children and adolescents
• It provides a system for handling incidents of abuse after they occur

1. Go to the Archdiocese's Safe Environment Website.
2. Click "Register" in the top right.
3. Enter code: "protectcincy".
4. From the dropdown list, select "St. Joseph -- Hamilton".
5. Select the role(s) associated with your position/volunteering at the Parish.
6. If you plan to volunteer at multiple parishes, please select all of those with which you plan to assist.
7. Click "Next".
8. Complete your personal information. Please enter your legal name for the purposes of the background screening. There are no credit checks and no soft hits to credit.
9. Create a unique username and password
10. Agree to the terms and click "submit".
11. Next, you will pay for your SafeParish background check. There is a possibility of the Parish paying your SafeParish fee. Please call the Parish if needed.
12. Complete the training
