Lectors

Lectors have the privilege of proclaiming the scripture and leading the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass. Initial training and evaluation are required. Lector study books are provided. Continuing self-guided study is encouraged. Lectors should study, practice and pray the readings. At a minimum 1-3 hours on the week of their assigned reading. However, study/prayer of readings is encouraged for every week even if not scheduled.
